Elite Travel Croatia’s World Cup Final was truly a miracle since smaller countries don’t often make the finals, but that didn’t stop the 2018 underdogs. Not unlike the football players, the Elite Travel team is a small but highly skilled group. As the first travel agency in Croatia to meets the standards of socially responsible and sustainable business, Elite Travel received the Travelife Certification, for their excellence in sustainability. Elite travel looks forward to showcasing its Mediterranean home to you, where crystal blue waters meets the cliffs of the Adriatic Sea.
Gastaldi Global Travel Don’t be fooled by the playful pose. The Gastaldi Global Team is in the midst of a generational transformation! The 30 year-old DMC, part of the 158 year-old Gastaldi Holding company managed by the Cerruti family, evolves to keep pace with a very dynamic meetings and incentive industry. Along with a rebranding, Michele Cerruti, CEO of Gastaldi Global shared, “Though we changed our logo and revitalized our mission, we maintain our values as an innovative company offering high-end customized services throughout our beautiful country of Italy.”
ID Events Australia The ID Events Australia is always in the midst of planning a big reveal. Even internally! For example, the team culminates the year-end by secretly assigning one team member to plan its holiday celebration without disclosing the location—maintaining the surprise until departure day! This year, the team ventured 90 minutes outside of Sydney to the southernmost tip of the central coast region and criss-crossed through the nearby national park to this secluded beach. Before toasting to an outstanding year, the team enjoyed their own homemade raviolis they made together in the chef’s kitchen. Imagine what surprises await in Australia!
ID New Zealand With four decades of experience and local knowledge, ID New Zealand soared to new heights this year. The expanding team scored a shiny new office and received the “DMC of the Year” award from a major U.S. client. What’s in store ? This energized team has redesigned its proposals to showcase an enhanced product portfolio for those once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experiences. The only constant at ID New Zealand is the ongoing quest for places still undiscovered coupled with a team committed to bringing those distinctive ideas to life.
Micato Safaris Team Micato may seem like fish out of water cruising the Columbia River instead of traversing the African bush, but a few days on the sea brought the team together for an invigorating company outing. The new year came to a roaring close with a “Micato Seafari!” They say once you’re on the open ocean, you’ll see what lies on the other side of the horizon and form a deeper connection to the world. We hear the same sentiments from our guests who travel with Micato Safaris through Africa and India. They arrive with a sense of wonder and leave with a deep connection to the land, animals and people unlike any other place on earth.
Quetzal Motivo Working in emerging destinations takes commitment and dedication, The QM team is always up for the challenge. This year, QM operated their largest incentive event ever. The Panama program had ten back-to-back waves totaling 1700 people. Our client said it best, “The team was creative, timely, resourceful, professional & fiscally responsible. The management team was personally involved in the program on a daily basis for seven consecutive weeks.” With impressive infrastructure happening across Central America and Quetzal Motivo’s five country offices, it is definitely a region to watch!

This exceptional team operated over 250 programs in 2018, engaging with 10,000 attendees this past year. During the London NFL game they managed 300 transportation movements in one weekend! Bucher Events The road to success is always under construction! The Bucher Events crew has been building client experiences for over 80 years from a strong foundation with unwavering dedication. As we welcome the new year, several of Switzerland’s iconic hotels will be reimagined as the country continues to reinvent. A recent client accolade hit the nail on the head, “Bucher delivered not only a spectacular program for our discerning attendees but did so with perfect precision and unparalleled partnership.”
East West Planners Thumbs up after a successful event in Singapore and for more of the same for 2019. East West Planner’s fearless leader, Janet Tan-Collis, CEO, was announced the winner of the PCMA Chairman’s Award earlier this year. The award recognized Tan-Collis for her work in driving education for emerging event professionals in APAC, as well as for her dedication to inspire and mentor the next generation of business event professionals. Mission accomplished!
